Volunteer and professional fire departments
Whether volunteer or professional brigades, the challenge for the carrier vehicle comes from elsewhere: narrow old towns with archways, winding city buildings, narrow access roads, parked residential areas, forest and mountain driveways – we realize narrow fire trucks, optimized carrier vehicles for turntables and aerial rescue platforms, high-traction and manoeuvrable heavy vehicles.
From two- to six-axle vehicles, we have vehicles with blue (or red) light in worldwide operations.
Industry plant firefighting
Whether small, low-height and manoeuvrable for factory halls, whether narrow industrial sites with height restrictions, whether large and heavy for extinguishing agent quantities and high ejection performance or whether low and resilient for turntable ladders or aerial rescue platforms.
We combine the right vehicle for the bodybuilder’s need from our modules.
Airport firefighting
The range of activites to be covered by airfield fire brigades is enormous: from road and rail networks to building fire protection on high-rise buildings to flight operation’s safety. As firefighting vehicles, rescue stairways, aerial ladders, aerial rescue platforms, interchangeable loaders and the fast airfield fire fighting vehicles, in all aspects chassis with Maurer logo in the front are awaiting the next alarm call.

Tunnel firefighting
After the incident in the Mont-Blanc tunnel on March 24, 1999, the tunnel fire brigade was frequently questioned. Our double-head solutions for the Mont-Blanc have received worldwide attention and are still very popular – on slightly modified base vehicles. In addition to the double-head solutions, we develop the tailor-made vehicle for the respective tunnel(s) together with the fire brigades and bodybuilders. The second generation of Toni-Maurer fire trucks is currently in use on Mont Blanc.
We listen carefully to the requirements of the fire brigades and together, we develop the individual solution.
Forest and wildfires as well as opencast mining firefighting
After various wildfires in recent years, new needs have emerged. Our traction experience for soft soils, which we have gained for years in the agricultural sector as well as from the energy suppliers, power line constructors and water management authorities, we can transfer for the knowledge for firefighting operations on grassy, arable and moorland. Manually extinguish fires through roof hatches at low speed? With our tire options and tire pressure control systems, you can make headway even in difficult terrain.

Vehicle design – your requirement
If it could be a standard commercial vehicle, as your application requires, then you would not be with us. The more complex your challenge, the more you arouse our passion for special vehicles. We dive together into the depths of vehicle construction. You do not have to study to work closely with our engineers – but we ask you exactly what you need!

We work at the highest level of vehicle construction, so we look forward to working with your experts at eye level and – especially with the bodybuilders – to exchange CAD data (ideally .ige or .dwg) in the AUTOCAD system.
